Day 2326 - A Drought Makes You Appreciate the Rain!
We FINALLY got a little rain earlier this week.
NOT having rain for SO long really makes me appreciate it when it does rain, and know how important it is!
It is SO wonderful to hear rain on the roof, and to see the raindrops falling from the sky.
(of course, rain sounds even more wonderful on a BARN roof, but I don't get to hear that very often)
There, I'll jump down from my soapbox now.

luckily no rain here today! We had enough yesterday. Hoping to get to see some fireworks tonight. Everything yesterday was rained out! Poo.
