Day 2139 - It's New Years Eve!!
Greetings, Bloggy Bye-Bye 2011-ers!
Dick Clark will help us say goodbye to 2011 and Hello to 2012!
I hate to say this, but in general, New Years Eve STINKS.
I have tried to have parties, and I have tried to GO to parties. BoooRRRiiiiNNNgggg!
I have gone to 'First Night' Celebrations in Boston and Providence, and froze to death. I have tried to watch television, which is a huge mistake. Nothing is worse than New Years Eve programming on TV.
The best thing I can think of? The Twilight Zone marathons. Staying awake voluntarily till midnight? It's overrated.
That's it. Let's all get it over with, shall we?

Very funny blog to end the year! Yes, "First Night"'s in Providence were incredibly cold! When we've watched the ball come down in NYC, we hardly recognized any of the bands! Actually tonight we're going with Mary Ann and Nancy to the Odd Fellows Theatre in Buckfield--it is a program of humor, mime, juggling acts, music, that has been going on now for about 16 yrs and tonight is their last performance. We went there with Dave and Tim, and Tim laughed through the whole thing. One act is the "Buckfield Tourism Dept", another funny one is a cooking act--very funny. There is also no drinking, so hopefully people make it home "over the mountain".
