Day 2008 - The Tax Man Cometh...
Greetings, Monday Morning Blahgers!
Another story from the Wilson County Fair -
Uncle Sam (in costume) was strolling around the fairgrounds in preparation for the evening parade, which was to start at 6pm.
I was sitting on a porch, people watching, when Uncle Sam came down the street.
The 'mom' sitting next to me called to her young sons (maybe early teens) saying 'Look! The Tax Man is here!'
The boys took off, met him, spoke to him, and each of them 'fist bumped' Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam looked like he was going to burst out laughing, and looked happy with the attention.
Do you think of Uncle Sam as the Tax Man? We thought that was pretty funny.

Oh jeez. Happy spam day! haha. That's cute! Savi still isn't a huge fan of people in costume. 'Monkey Joe' was walking around Monkey Joe's yesterday and lots of kids were running over to hug him. Savi was interested, but kept her distance. When I suggested she go see him, she panicked!! Poor thing!
Today is Mike and my 3 year anniversary! Heading out for supper soon :)
