Day 1956 - It's JULY already!
Greetings, Bloggy Picnic-ers!
It's Friday, Hooray! You know what to do, march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Long Weekend! Fri-day! Long Weekend!'
Yes, today is the kickoff of 4th of July weekend. Savi is in costume for the occasion.
Actually, this picture is from the Relay for Life that Savi and Heather participated in.
So - what is everyone going to be doing? I am going to REST, as I am still recovering from my bronchitis.
When I am not resting, we have some visiting planned. I also have craft fair plans, and cookout plans, and swimming plans, and we bought some new camp chairs for our RELAXING plans. I bought some salmon burgers (yes, we love salmon burgers), hot dogs, chips and salsa, barbeque sauce, etc.
What is missing from this picture? ICE CREAM! Sometime over the holiday weekend I am going to have some scrumptious ice cream.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Have a great holiday!

Hope you and Gil are recovering!
Other than being traumatized by the thought it's now July and in 32days I'll be gone from SF--I'm enjoying all the attention!
Tomorrow am going to a good friend's weekend retreat in wine country for a barbecue and also a goodbye to me (she wasn't able to attend my party last Sat). Sunday just hang out and work on my moving preparations. Monday I'll probably go down by the waterfront, enjoy the festivities and always magnificent fireworks for the last time!!

:( my baby isn't a baby anymore!!! We spent the whole day at the beach today...8 straight hours! It was gorgeous but, despite my sunblock, I still managed to fry and now feel like death.Sun poisoning!!! Savi did not cook and has been taking care of me since we got home. :) And we had ice cream!!!! Yay Moo Moos!
