Day 1943 - I Only Blog on Days Ending With a Y...

Greetings, Bloggy Beach Lovers!

Okay, this beach is in Florida, not California, but I'll probably be taking pictures today of the California beaches.

I'm expecting to see two of my aunts this morning - one of them our very own Aunt Nancy, frequent commenter on the blog. We might go out to breakfast, or lunch, or just do whatever...

This evening is a graduation party for my niece, and that will start at 6.

No time for bloggage, there's too much to do!

Comments:
Hey, funny title. I was thinking "Hmm, are there any days that don't end in Y?" Too early in the morning...

Back from the relay. It was cold and WET but we stayed and had a good time (most of the time.) For a while the weather was so awful no one was even allowed to walk. We had to stay in our cars (or tents, as we did due to two sleeping children) So we ended up napping in puddles instead. It was so wet the blue from our relay tshirts stained our arms by morning. haha! We sold a few things though. Next year will be better! Savi had fun, until this morning when she felt sick, threw up, and was just miserable. She's napped and is feeling better now. :)

Heather, Our relay for life here was wet and miserable, too, but I wasn't part of a team so I left at 5pm to go home and warm up, then went back about 8:30 for the luminaria service. The candles kept lighting the bags on fire, due to the wind, so those all had to be blown out! Then I went home for good after that. I'm sorry conditions were so bad for you, your team member, and the little ones. Better luck next year if you are brave enough!

Karen, how great you have time to blog! Thinking of you and family!

Grammy, all our bags caught fire too...Ones we lit for teammates that couldn't come were several years old and are now destroyed. That was sad, but we will definitely be doing it again next year...bigger and better!!! We are at the beach today, and will see you this week!!!
