Day 1917 - Cicada Plague Round II
Greetings, Monday Morning Cicadas, I mean Blah-gers!Here are some excellent cicada-plague pictures taken by our special guest blog photographer, my friend S.Y. in Columbia.
They are absolutely everywhere.
If you are outdoors and near any trees, the buzzing and rattling makes you a bit crazy after a while - the noise never stops.Whir, whir, whir. Bzzzzzz Bzzzz Bzzzzz. They are loudest in the afternoon in the heat of the day.
We are having a mini heat wave at the moment, with temps near 90. The darling little buglets love that.
