Day 1911 - Swimming Pools and Swimming Pool Stories

Greetings, Bloggy Water Dogs!

It's been cold and rainy here, but the outdoor pool at the health club has been drained, repainted, and filled with water in anticipation of the outdoor swimming season.

Of course it is freezing cold at the moment, but it will be opening soon, whether it's cold or not!

I have a cute story from the indoor pool on Sunday. A dad and his two small boys were enjoying the pool. Side note: I notice more and more Dads taking their kids to the pool while Mom works out.

The boys were having a great time. When I was ready to leave, they had to move over so I could walk up the stairs and exit the pool.

The older (maybe 5 years old) boy said, in a very grown-up way 'Did you enjoy your swim?'

I said 'Oh yes! I love this pool! Do you love it too?' The same boy said proudly 'We're new members! This is the first time we've been to the pool.' I told them that I'd been a member since the place opened, and went on my way.

As I was leaving I heard the other little boy ask his father 'Do you know that lady?' He may think that all adults know all other adults...

TTFN and have a nice Tuesday!

Comments:
So cute! I DO think that kids believe all adults know each other. Savi will point out people randomly and ask their names. Speaking of names, Savi has discovered MINE. She likes saying 'Heather!' And hearing my answer her. She told Mike last night, 'that's MY Heather' funny :)

You'll have to sing her that song, "oh Heather honey, warm as the springtime"--

When I think of that song, I hear Aunt Mary Ann singing it!

Hahaha now that's cool! Hey you should install pool supplies to it too!
