Day 1868 - Pudding on the Ritz!
Greetings, Monday Morning Blah-gers! Bread Pudding, Anyone?
I am not a huge dessert fan, but one thing I know I like is bread pudding - it's probably my favorite dessert after ice cream.
One guy I work with said that more women like bread pudding than men. I don't know about that - Charlie likes bread pudding too.
I've had bread pudding with raisins, bread pudding with apples, chocolate bread pudding, bread pudding with whiskey sauce, bread pudding with praline sauce, and I think one was creme brulee bread pudding!
I have NEVER tried to make it myself though. I don't think it's very difficult, but I know that if I make a pan full of it, I'll eat the whole pan.
That might be bad.

Hi Karen! Bread pudding with praline sauce sounds great. I like it best when there's quite a bit of custard with the bread. I have made it but not for a long time.
I wish you could have been at Margaret's shower--a really good time, and what a cutie little Savi was. There was an older girl there, probably 8 yrs old, that Savi made friends with, and they patted the cat together (2 large black cats). Heather told you the story that when she gave her present to Margaret, Margaret asked "Oh, is this for me?", and Savannah said, "No, it's for the baby!" So cute!
