Day 1846 - Spring ahead! Or at least a foot!
Greetings, Bloggy Daylight Savers!
Did you remember to set your clocks ahead last night? We did!
It's Daylight Savings time again (though I wish they would just give it up and go on standard time year round).
It's going to take me a few days to adjust to the dark mornings, and losing an hour of sleep.
Are you tired out yet?
Charlie's daughter had a birthday on Friday, and we're taking her (and her family) out to eat this afternoon. First we'll go get our swim in, so we won't feel so guilty about it!
Hope you have a great 'Spring' Sunday, and TTFN!

Late yesterday afternooon I was at a post St. Patrick's Day Parade party at Harrington's, an Irish bar that I have been going to on St. Patrick's Day for over 30 years, and to the post parade party every few years. It's really a family event (unlike St. Partrick's Day itself, a mob scene!) Food such as corned beef etc., Irish soda bread, Shepherd's pie is served, and girls (and the occasional boy) from Irish dancing schools in the City entertain along with an Irish band. Other little girls and boys were jumping around dancing during the intermissions. One little redhead (maybe 7-8?)actually did some of the Irish dance steps --we thought she had been taking lessons for several years (they start early), we asked her and she told us seriously, "10 months." I texted Heather a photo of her, and her little sister in full ballerina gear with shamrocks on the front. We had such a wonderful time watching the dancers and those cute little future dancers. Of course, they reminded me so much of Savi!
