Day 1819 - Happy Valentines Day!
Greetings, Bloggy Hearts and Heartlesses-Happy Valentines Day!
We are having a PIE pot luck luncheon at work today, and I am bringing homemade shepherds pie. I hope it will be deemed delicous by the folks at work.
I was shopping at Super Target yesterday, and a man got into line behind me with just ONE item, a Valentines Day card.
I said 'You can go in front of me', which he very much appreciated.
He showed me the card, and it was a Dora-the-Explorer Valentine card. He explained that the card was for his granddaughter. How cute was that?

Shepherd's Pie is one of my favorite foods. I've been buying it at an Irish bakery--one of the best I've had. I'd love your recipe!

I'll second that, Nancy--I love sheperd's pie, too. But I love chocolates more and today my sweetie gave me a box of Russell Stover's and I've had 2 today already.

So what's with the Maine-Pennsylvania Whoopie Pie fight? Read it in the Wall Street Journal today. Were mamma's whoopie pies filled with marshmallow fluff or frosting, or did they vary?
