Day 1783 - Uh...my tree is STILL UP

Greetings, Bloggy Spirits of Christmas Past...

I KNOW, I KNOW - it is WAY past time now to take the tree down, but I have a new excuse!

Buddy Joe is coming for dinner, and I want him to see it, so I can't POSSIBLY take it down yet.

It sure feels like Christmas - 15 degrees with a snowstorm coming in tonight and another snow event the day after that.

It's a good thing we got a propane delivery this weekend - almost $800. Ouch - that hurts, but at least we won't run out of fuel.

I'll make this short so we can go the health club and swim, then get ready for company.

Oh - and my FREE chicken biscuit yesterday (that I pronounce as 'Chikky Bisky') was just fine, thank you very much.

TTFN and have a great Sunday! Stay warm!

Comments:
Hello, wish me luck with politics going on at my job. People who are controlling and refuse to communicate, and are micromanaging my job, doing things that aren't their's to do! Aarrgh!

ugh. Isnt that the WORST! Good luck Marcia. that stinks.
Happy Sunday everyone. Savi and I are stuck home again. Mike is working and won't have a new tire for the truck until tomorrow, so we are carless..oh well. We've watched Alice in Wonderland and Beauty and the Beast so far this morning. Lunch time now and more movies after nap...fun fun!

Our dinner with Buddy Joe went great - we had wild duck cooked two ways, one braised and one grilled.

Gonna nap now! xxx

Oh - and good luck, Marcia! Work trouble that is caused by 'the administration' isn't any fun.

Marcia, wish you luck but that sounds pretty familiar in the job world!

Peggy, as you can see the squeaky wheel gets the grease-they'll finally accommodate you so you'll go away!

I love spicy foods (Karen you love Cajun food and not spice???) jalapeno peppers do bother me though!

The south is the new north (is this original?) with all the snow and cold!

ANNOUNCEMENT!! I HAVE STARTED TAKING DOWN THE TREE.

Nancy - yes I love cajun food, and cajun spice, and even hot sauce, as long as it isn't too spicy!

Also - we are expecting 3-6 inches of snow in our area over the next 48 hours.

My shovel (that I insisted we get when I moved here) is READY!
