Day 1738 - Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Greetings, Bloggy ThanksGivers-

Yes, it's Turkey Day, Hooray!

You know what to do - eat from your plate in a circle chanting:

'Tur-key! Gra-vy! Stuf-fing! Tur-key! Gra-vy! Stuf-fing!'

This turkey looks like it has bacon strips all over it - have you ever made one that way? I haven't. I spray mine with butter Pam to hold in the juices.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving - we all have so much to be thankful for!

Comments:
A couple of additions:

I heard someone on 'Man Vs. Food' show on the Travel Channel say 'Calf Rope!' instead of 'Uncle!' - that is the first time other than Charlie I've heard it.

Also - heres an excerpt from something Aunt Mary Ann sent me:

MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY,
MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP.
MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS.
MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS!!

Happy Thanksgiving Karen!

Ok, so I cooked all morning and now, seconds after making a plate, I am stuffed and ready for bed. lol! Savi fell asleep around noon so she hasn't even eaten yet. She will be waking up soon, I'm sure. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a full and happy night!
