Day 1737 - Twas Thanksgiving Eve, and all through the house...

Greetings, Bloggy Gobblers, Hens and Poults-

It's almost here - let there be Turkey for everyone!

The Great Turk-age will fly out of the pumpkin patch, and deliver stuffing and gravy to all the good little children.

Think of how difficult THAT would be to put in the stockings above the fireplace...

Are you ready for the 'Yay - Day'? We are!

My favorite two items are, of course, stuffing and gravy.

After that, turkey (dark meat) and cranberry sauce and gravy.
After that, mashed potatoes and gravy.
After that, rolls and butter dunked in the gravy.
After that, EVERYTHING ELSE with gravy.

And after that.... DESSERT.

TTFN and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow! Don't forget the Pepcid AC, you just might need it.

Hello, hello, hello, hello (echo)

Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble (echo)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We'll be at Brenda and Rusty's and bringing apple pie, pumpkin pie, onion dip, and mashed sweet potatoes. Of course the main course is turkey--yum! Nina and boyfriend, Brent, Sunny and Rusty's folks will be there too.

I'm already looking forward to Early Christmas!! Yay!

Hi all -

We have a menu planned for tomorrow of chips 'n dip, turkey, stuffing, gravy, rolls, mashed potatoes, peas, pearl onions, and peach pie from Merridees Breadbasket bakery in downtown Franklin.

Talk about GOOD!

This is the menu at friend Denise's: Turkey, mashed potatoes (equisite-cream, butter, cheese), sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts with bacon, yams, dressing and gravy; mac & cheese and "lots of things to nibble" before dinner. Other guests are bringing several pies from a special bakery and of course wine.
She wants me to come early to taste at the stove while she's cooking-- that's 1,000 calories alone!)
Peggy that's good you're going to Brenda's and don't have to do all the work that I'm sure you did for many years.

Have a great Thanksgiving--family Thanksgiving in West Paris next year!!

We've seen a lot more mac 'n cheese show up on holiday dinner descriptions - I can't remember ever having mac 'n cheese on the holidays!

Have fun, everyone! Love you!
