Day 1723 - Midweek and Midlife

Greetings, Bloggy Middlers -

Yes, it's Midweek already. Woo hoo! November is really going by fast.

The holidays will be here before you know it, and the stores are already going crazy trying to get shoppers in the door.

I'm not ready for the holidays, it is still SUMMER here, for goodness sake! The next few afternoons will be around 75 degrees.

Kroger already has Thanksgiving turkeys on sale. My turkey would be defrosted before I could get it home.

I had C# class yesterday, and I did do SOME of my homework - enough to get by. NO HOMEWORK THIS WEEK.

Woo Hoo times 2!

Have a nice Wednesday, no matter what the temperature is where you are...

Hi bloggers--Gil and I arrived home from SF last night at 11:30, after leaving sister, Martha, at her house. Yes, we have jet lag, but trying to work through it--emptying suitcases, laundry, the usual Wed activities. Tonight it is Legion/Auxiliary mtgs and supper.

Nancy kept us informed as to the blog but of course I couldn't comment. Nancy was the ultimate hostess and we had a really excellent time! Sometimes we wonder how Nancy will adjust next year in retirement coming from a bustling city of 750,000 people and a World Series winning baseball team to sleepy little Maine towns. Oh well, she grew up here and knows what it's like, and knows how much we will love having her here! She's already planning seasonal trips back to warmer climates!

And a warm Happy 1st Birthday to Kako Sophie, daughter of William and Kako, and step-brother, Connor. Lyn and Steve, happy grandparents, are visiting as we speak!

And last but not least, just in case y'all don't know, I am the proud and happy Great-Grandmother!
