Day 1656 - Hurricane? Where's the Hurricane?

Greetings, Bloggy Saturday Celebrants!

Just look at this darling photo of Savannah, complete with a faint hint of chocolate mustache, courtesy of Wrights Dairy Farm Chocolate Milk.

A little chocolate just adds to the cuteness.

The local news, and the Weather Channel were broadcasting in full force yesterday, though with very little to talk about. We were going to get some rain. Yep. Rain.

Nordic Lodge - my very favorite pig out spot, was CLOSED yesterday due to the storm! Jeepers!

Today is OUR day to go to the Nordic Lodge, so I hope that all is well and they will be dishing up lots of yummy lobsters for us this afternoon.

Boo Hoo! I have to print my boarding pass tonight for my return trip home Sunday night! Nooo!!! Not already!!!!

Gotta go! TTFN and have a great Saturday!

Comments:
Thank you Aunty Cheryl for the AWESOME pic of Savi! This is one of my favorites ever. Love it!!!!

Yes, Earl was a big flop. Hardly even blew the leaves off the trees! Gave us some great waves the other day though. =)

Can't wait for LOBSTER tonight! And clammies, and shrimp and steak and crab and and and......ohhh, so good!

Five inches of rain here, no damage around here, that we can see. I didn't hear any wind during the night. The electricity must have gone off, because the clock on the stove stopped at 3:03. Nice day today!

Have a good time at the Nordic Lodge!

What a beautiful photo of our little Savi! Thanks Cheryl!

Marcia, so good to hear that the storm at your house was mostly rain, but so much rain!

Every day has been just great here at Lyn and Steve's and tomorrow Gil and I go back to Maine, and later Karen goes home. We're so lucky to have had so many good days together!

Stephanie's father doesn't have long to live. Very sad.
