Day 1628 - Saturday, Hooray!
Greetings, Bloggy Wedding Wannabes!
Charlie and I are going to a wedding shower today for one of his relatives.
The bride-to-be is the 'daughter of the daughter of one of Charlie's first cousins'.
In my mind, that makes the bride-to-be a first cousin, twice removed. Is that correct?
Another member of that family got married last year, and Charlie attended that shower (I had to work).
When we received the invitation to this shower, it was so similar that Charlie thought an old invitation had gotten lost and took a year to get here! Too funny!
Have fun today - especially for the beachgoers.
It's ONLY going to be 92 today, that is totally a cold snap! It will be back to 100 by midweek, and high 90's the rest of the week.

I'm not sure about it but first cousin twice removed sounds right.
I went to have my hair trimmed then to the SP U U Church for their luncheon of lobster roll, chips, cole slaw, and lemon square. Very yummy and since then I keep wanting to have a nap! Gil stayed home to mow the lawn, etc. Now he's at the Veteran's Home helping take down tables, etc. they used for a craft fair. Always busy, that Gilbert!
68 degrees right now, a little cold snap! Should be in the lower 80's next week.

Yes it is first cousin twice removed. Another example is that Heather is Eric's cousin once removed; Savi twice removed. You can access a consanguinity chart on the internet that shows relationships including second cousins--I love to read those charts (sicko)

Hi all. It was beautiful at the beach today, my little grump was not having any part of it. She spent most of the day crying or sleeping on my shoulder. She didn't want to go in the water, didn't want to dig in the sand. She DID want to go on the swing and that was about all she wanted to do. She did perk up for a little bit about an hour before it was time to leave. she jumped in the water for a few minutes and ran up and down the beach...then back to the swings...
She hasn't been sleeping too well for some reason, so I think she's just pooped. Tomorrow should be better. There will be a TON of kids from a few work friends that are meeting us at Scarborough. (Uncle too!!) Should be a nice day =)
