Day 1571 - Friday, Hooray!

Greetings, Bloggy TGIFers!

I have a few animal stories to tell, but first... You know what to do, march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Fri-day! Fri-day!'

I saw the cutest thing on the way to work yesterday.

A male turkey (gobbler) was on one side of a fence, all puffed up like this photo.

A female turkey (hen) was on the OTHER side of the fence.

I could just HEAR the male turkey thinking... Hmmmm- now I've got her attention, but I can't get through this FENCE!

The other stories are not quite so cute.

I saw a dead rattlesnake yesterday, on the side of the road maybe 6 miles from our house. It was thick and brown with square patterning on it. Yuck!

Charlie saw a dead armadillo yesterday, just a couple miles from the house - that is another interesting sighting.

TTFN, have a nice Friday, and a great weekend!

A RATTLESNAKE?????? Wow! How cool!!!
Tonight is Jen's Graduation! WOOHOO!!!

Enjoy the graduation tonight--congratulations to Jen!

A rattlesnake, how awful!!!

Sometimes turkeys act like turkeys. They are able to fly over the fence, so maybe Mr. Turkey will figure that out!

Today, Nancy arrived in Maine for a busy weekend of graduations--Morgan from Lake Region and Phoenix from Oxford Hills--congratulations to them both!

Uh oh, stooping to roadkill now on the blog.
