Day 1569 - Midweek and Midlife

Greetings, Bloggy Middlers -

Here's a cute photo of Savannah on Memorial Weekend - the cuteness just keeps on going!

We are having 'Wear a Hawaiian shirt to work' day today, and we are also having a free lunch, catered by the Calypso Cafe. Who can hate that?

I haven't had the food from the Calypso Cafe before, but people who have said it's great, and healthy.

So - what else is going on? Do you have a garden this year, and is it growing?

Charlie has brought in blueberries from our garden, two summer squash, and one tiny Savannah-sized early girl tomato. Good job, Charlie!

We almost never use the front door, so our front entry way gets neglected big time. I went out front yesterday and washed the glass on the front storm door. I also swept the steps AND threw away the old, moth eaten front door mat. That means SHOPPING for a new one soon!

Have a nice day, and TTFN!

Comments:
So Jen's graduation is Friday. Her Graduation PARTY is Sunday...this will be a busy weekend! Might take Savi to the beach Saturday if the weather is good.

I keep saying I want a garden, but every summer comes and goes and I never plant one. Maybe once the backyard is done I will set aside an area to plant next season?

Congrats to Jen! I'm going to Maine this weekend (leave on redeye Thurs nite return Monday evening) for graduations Sat. & Sun.-Mary Ann's 2 youngest grandkids. Phoenix graduates on June 12 and his birthday is June 13-the day of Morgan's graduation. The grad party for both is the next weekend as grads always attend school sponsored graduation parties on graduation night. Oh well, the graduation is the most important part. Besides I can party with the family!

Happy Graduation Jen! Happy Graduation Party, Heather!

Charlie keeps up the garden, but we had many nice ones over the years in Rehoboth, didn't we?

xxxx

Yes, we had nice gardens in Rehoboth until the groundhog family took over! And we women did all the work! I have to admit those little chubby baby groundhogs were the cutest! Boy could they eat!

Hawaiian shirt day sounds awesome, and the food as well. I can't even believe Charlie's garden! Gil planted his 3 tomato and 3 green pepper plants just a week ago, so it will be awhile!

Savi's pictures are the best! And congratulations to Jen--such a nice achievement!
