Day 1515 - A day late and a dollar short!
Greetings, Bloggy TGIFers -
It's Friday! You know what to do - march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Fri-day! Fri-day!'
So - YESTERDAY was the fifteenth, and it's a shame that it wasn't day '1515' on the fifteenth! Ah, well.
Changing subjects - do you see what I saw in THIS picture? See the little violet plant imbedded in the moss on the tree? It was awesome!
The Opryland Hotel employs lots of people who spend their days creating those effects in the Opryland atrium rooms. Nature did it for free. Go, Nature!
Not much time for bloggage this morning...

Still trying to get caught up here from our FL vacation. Yesterday afternoon I went out to a mtg wearing summer "grasshopper" shoes, no socks, and soon found out I'm no longer in the South! My feet and ankles were cold!

Great photo, Karen!
I would like to expand sister Peggy's report of Nashville/Memphis trip. The main event ("it's all about me") is the "baby" of our family's 65th (aaarrrgghhh) birthday! Sister Mary Ann's birthday is on the same day. She is OLDER. Our birthdays are also on Mother's Day. Cool, huh. And, even older sister Peggy has a late May birthday.
Besides the great Nashville activities, we are going to Graceland, and will spend one night at the Heartbreak Hotel! For kids of the 50's/60's Elvis is King.
Can't wait to get there to be with the hostess with the mostest, Karen!! (and of course our lovable Charlie).

Yes, I took that picture at the same place we went to on Sunday - Metal Ford on the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Well I am very impressed that you did take that picture, Karen! And let's hear it for Nancy's 65th birthday celebration. Today I found out that we are able to get the Nashtrash tour--yaay; and Gil made our reservations for picking up a van at the airport so we (the 6 of us) can go together to Memphis.
