Day 1499 - So long, March! Hello, April!

Greetings, Bloggy Transitioners!

We are transitioning from March to April, of course...

I think it's neat that the last day of March is Day 1499, which means that April first will be Day 1500!

No big deal really, but I kind of like THE TRANSITION.

Have you seen the full moon? I guess not in the rainy areas of the country, but it is beautiful here.

Changing subjects, or maybe because Bruce Willis's head looks like the moon...

We watched 'Live Free or Die Hard' last night. It is violent, but it is really creative and different violence, like taking out a helicopter using a CAR as a weapon. Brilliant.

Tell me this... What is it about movies where anyone of any fitness level wearing any kind of shoes seems to be able to RUN and RUN and RUN forever without getting tired?

I couldn't run very far, even if my life depended on it, but in the movies (or cartoons), I certainly could.

TTFN and have a nice March-end!

Comments:
Hi all! the rain has finally stopped, though the damage has not. Parts of the highway is still flooded, many roads are closed and lots and lots of schools are closed too. Not Jen's though. Poor Jen. haha!
No big problems here, though a couple people at work who LIVE in basements have lost EVERYTHING. Sad...

Weather forecast here - sunny and 78 degrees this afternoon. It was in the 30's this morning - it can really warm up fast during the day.

Girl, you can be anything or do anything in the movies--call your agent!

Heather I'm glad you're not on the river! On the Today show this a.m. they mentioned parts of Warwick were flooded. Sounds like you'll have a nice sunny Easter though. We have been getting rain but nothing like the Northeast.

Glad the rain has stopped, Heather, and you are all safe! The news photos are scary! No moon here for two nights--not too much rain but it has just stopped this afternoon.

Mary Ann and friend are just about to arrive for supper!

My friend, Janet, and I stood in the rain this morning for almost 2 hrs to get tickets to see Pres. Obama tommorow. Yaay! Gil will go and another friend, making 4.

If anyone can find photos online of the flooding, check em out! The Warwick Mall photos are crazy. The water is all the way up to the TOP of the cars...Literally the very top of the roof is all that is seen. The stores are all under water, everything is ruined. The police had to go into teh lot in a BOAT to rescue a security guard that was in the building overnight. Everywhere is shut down, including the highway...so much worse today. They are evacuating Coventry and West Warwick because the dam may fail, and if it does, others will follow...so we could get wet at some point???
