Day 1281 - Sunday and asparagus...
Greetings, Blogregation!
Happy Belated Anniversary to Heather and Mike! Sorry we're not keeping up with that date better!
I was clearing off my camera and found this 'asparagus grilling' photo from when Charlie was away.
Charlie doesn't like asparagus, so I cooked it for myself when he was on his baseball trip... It was AWESOME.
A church sign down the street now says 'Five baptisms in Five Weeks' -they're on a roll!
Here's another interesting church related story...
There's a small tobacco field not far from where we live. That's not unusual, but you see them less and less around here, like cotton fields.
Have you ever touched tobacco? It feels like the softest leather...
The funny thing about the tobacco field is that it is located in between a church property and the cemetery where Charlie and I have purchased plots!
You can draw your own conclusions about the irony...
Have a nice Sunday, everyone! Tomorrow is Monday again!

I bought a ton of asparagus today! And frozen Edamame for me and Savi to try. We went to the beach today and there wasnt any beach!! The water was so high and wild from the hurricaine that it went all the way up to the wall. Lots of people were there to watch and wade through the breaking waves. Of course no one was allowed to swim...we even got asked to move off the little bit of exposed sand because someone had been knocked over while sitting on the WALL by an extra large wave, so the lifeguards were concerned for the baby. We moved, of course. I got some pics and video...hope they come out!
