Ahhhh - MORE Weekend!
Greetings, Blogregation!
On a local church sign - 'Three baptisms in three weeks!'
Must mean there are a lot of babies being born right now. Come to think of it - I have been to two baby showers recently at work, which proves my point.
Speaking of babies - here is Miss Savannah, concentrating on her sand mold (or the sand inside the sand mold).
Charlie phoned twice yesterday.
The first time I wasn't home, I was taking advantage of our twice a year 'Tax free weekend' in Tennessee on clothing. Most New England states don't have a tax on clothes, but since TN Tax is around 10%, and coupled with the fact that I only looked at what was on clearance, I found a few bargains.
He called again when all the 'ballgame' activities were done for the day - and said they had a great time in D.C.
They went to three museums, out to eat, stopped briefly at a ratty dive bar that was so loud they didn't enjoy being in there, and enjoyed the ballgame (though my buddy Randy Johnson wasn't pitching last night for Arizona - drat!)
Today they drive to Philly for cheesesteaks and a day game.
I'm meeting Buddy Joe to see Harry Potter in 3D in the IMAX at Opry Mills. I didn't even realize they had a 3D show. Can't wait!
TTFN and have a great Sunday!

Tax free weekend on clothes--you must have enjoyed that! We just got back from church and now have a picnic to go to sponsored by the Legion. Gil and I are going to the Legion Hall to husk and cook the corn for the event. Tonight it's pizza at Aunt Mary Ann's. Remember this Wed. Mary Ann, Martha, and I are going to Nantucket for Marcia's performances. Looking forward to it!
Karen, your boyfriend Randy plays for the Giants and is on the disabled list and no use to us at the moment.
Hi all! We went to Misquamicut beach today. It was REALLY cold and breezy. Not a good beach day at all. We were meeting people there so we stayed till we were all frozen...then took off to go to the zoo! Now we are all beat...one more day of fun then another loooooooooong work week =)
