Day 1239 - Happy Birthday, Auntie Cheryl!

Greetings, Blogregation!

It's Sunday - the weekend goes by too fast!

Church sign of the day is 'Make people happy wherever you go, not whenever you go'.

Happy Birthday to Auntie Cheryl today - here is a picture of Cheryl tickling Savannah at her birthday party - Savannah liked it!

We had a nice day yesterday with Charlie's group.

Little Clark fell asleep in my arms after playing on the floor happily in the 'baby safe zone' I made for him. You see - I have this hypnosis-factor happen when I snuggle a baby, they crash!

We had our BLT's and corn on the cob, and ice cream with whipped cream and nuts afterward.

Today we're going to the health club to swim off some of yesterday's food, then we might go see 'Hangover' this afternoon.

TTFN and have a great Sunday.

Have a fun birthday, Cheryl, and Happy Birthday-Eve to Mike today!

Happy Birthday Cheryl--what a sweet picture! We've had a busy day, starting with the Kiwanis pancake breakfast, then 9am church service which Aunt Martha attended with us while Aunt Mary Ann and Aunt Nancy went off sailing for the day with Debi and her friend, Mark (a chartered sail). Aunt Nancy goes home tomorrow so this was our last time to see her until Ferry Beach. We've all had a great visit with her. Then Martha left for home and Brenda came over and planted some shrubs, etc. up at "the other house" while Gil and I did various things, gardening at our house and moving stuff up at "the other house". Then we called out for pizza , then went to the soft serve ice cream place. Now we're home for the night relaxing. Haven't had a chance to do this since all the sadness happened.

Happy birthday Cheryl! Sorry to write so late! Just finished getting the baby to bed, dogs out and me showered after a VERY long day at Warped Tour. Jen, Kaitlyn and I dropped Savi off at Janet's at 8:30am, drove to pick up Jen's friend Anthony, then headed to CT for the concerts. It was a 2 hour drive to Hartford...very NICE drive! We parked in the first lot we saw that was for venue parking...turned out it was a million miles away from the show. The walk TO wasn't bad...the walk BACK was painful...haha.
We got there just before 12 and there were already bands playing on various stages...we wandered around for a bit, then watched some big shows, waited in a HUGE line for Jen to get autographs, watched some more shows (roasted in the sun) then finally called it quits around 6pm. I am exhausted! WAY too old for this kind of stuff! The kids loved it, though, so it was all worth it!
Finally picked my little one up at 9:30 after dropping everyone off and now I am relaxing for a minute before passing out! Probably should have saved the story for tomorrow...but everyone can backtrack =)
Happy Bday to my hubby tomorrow! I have Jury duty. ugh.
