Day 1199 - Twofer Tuesday
Greetings, Bloggy Twofers!Here's a cute photo of Savi with two puppies - and look at that darling dress!
Well - I don't talk much about work on the blog, but I will say that the company I have worked for these past 3 years was just acquired by a bigger company.
Hopefully that will mean changes for the better, I do know that the benefits are going to be better, so maybe I won't gripe and moan so much about my lack of vacation days.

Hello sister,
I just love the picture of Savi with the watermelon (6/1). Her face expresses just how I generally feel while I'm at work. In fact, that pic will go on my locker next time I do work. I am sure the response will be "oh she looks just like you!" Yes, my coworkers know that expression well.
Heather, you are so good with that camera. You could go professional!
Thanks for the news about the aquisition. Any company will be SO fortunate to have YOU as one of their prize employees, Karen.
I have the day off...ended up having to bargain for it. Ironically, my boss had me off 5 days straight after you visited, then held it against me "you realize you just had FIVE days off?" Well no kidding. She did the scheduling!
So I volunteered to do Friday, my other day off. Yep, bargained myself right out of my doctor's appt. Oh well, they will have to fit me in the following Tuesday, cause I won't have another day off till then. What is it these days, anyway?

...in case anybody hasn't heard, Will and Kako are having a GIRL, some time in November.
They are planning to name her Keiko, the way it's spelled traditionally in Japan.
Awsome all these girls. Steve's daughter is due any day now. Her name will be Jade. Jade-Lyn, that is. Not sure about the spelling of Lyn.
Now you know when I'm on the blog this much I am avoiding housework, right? I still have sheets to do from MY guests, so no, Nancy, no rule the sheets have to be done immediately. Truth be told, I usually do them just BEFORE folks come back!! (No fluff.)

That's interesting that Will & Kako chose to name the little one after Mom..even if it IS a different spelling. You don't see many Mother/Daughter 'juniors'. I love the name Jade Lyn.
Glad to find out the benefits are better, Mom! That's encouraging!! =)
I have puppy appointments already..tomorrow & through the week. Jen finishes school thursday. Yay! =)

Everybody who might read this has gone to bed except for Karen or Nancy because they are in a different time zone, so this will be short. I'll just repeat Heather to say I'm glad your benefits will be better, and I'll repeat Lyn in saying your new Company is very lucky to have someone of you qualifications and smarts (is that a word?--guess you didn't get your smarts from your mother, must be Daddy King! Love the picture of Savilynn and puppies. Yes, Heather, move them on out, those little "ya-ya's"! What does Savi call them now?
