Day 1168 - Farewell, homeless one!

Greetings, Bloggy Weekenders!

Well - our darling boy, Don Quixote, has gone to his new home...

We have had flooding rain, so the yard, barnyard, etc is solid mud, which didn't help things.

However - not easily, not willingly, but our beloved 'Old Don Q' went on his way with his new adoptive family around 1:30 this afternoon.

I HOPE with all of my heart that they like him and he reciprocates!

Farewell, Badonkadonk!

Comments:
Karen, I was waiting for the news that Don Q has gone far away to his new home. No more nighttime serenades! Farewell Badonkadonk--that's pretty funny! Now I know you are having a good weekend! I'm sure the mud and rain didn't help his departure, but even the Kentucky Derby was muddy. We watched the finish, and what an amazing upset by Mime that Bird! (strange name)

Awww, I will miss Don Q! I hope he is happy with his new family. I hope he has other animals to serenade!

Karen, I hope they let you know how Don Q is doing. (What is badonkadonk?) Do they have other animals?

PS: Heather, prom news? photos?

Hi Nancy! I don't have any pics yet...waiting for the over-tired prom princess to surrender them to me. She had a good time, though, and a GREAT time at the Brittany concert last night. I hope to have pics up soon, but I will say she looked STUNNING!!!!

And Badonkadonk is from a country song by Trace Adkins....

My bad, that I didn't recognize a Trace Adkins song (who I saw UP CLOSE with his big fan, Stephanie Hempel, in Nashville).

I just checked him out on the Internet--saw his video "Got my game on" which is hilarious. He was great on Celebrity Apprentice last year too.
