Yes, Happy Easter weekend everyone! I am joining in the "Walk of the Cross" today--a short 3 mi walk from the Norway UU Church to the S Paris Lutheran Church, stopping at 3 other churches. Usually about 50 people show up. It's a small cross that is carried.

We interrupt normal blogging for this important message...
You may be seeing reports of severe weather in Middle Tennessee. Karen and I are fine and have no property damage in spite of heavy rain and some hail. Murfreesboro, about 25 miles away from us and where my brother and daughter live, was hit very hard by several tornadoes. There is a lot of property damage and two fatalities have been reported. Communications are difficult but I've talked to my brother and daughter and they and their families all seem to be okay.
We now return you to regular blogging...

I just spoke with Karen and Charlie, before reading the blog again, and I'm so relieved that Charlie's daughter, brother and their families were not in the path of the tornado! And sorry for all those who were. Better weather next week, we hope!
