It Only Hurts When I Blog

I went to see my friends newborn yesterday. Now I have 'tiny baby withdrawl'. I can't believe Savi used to be that small! I'd already forgotten all the cute little noises a newborn makes...she was so adorable, tiny and WARM! I didn't want to put her down. I think I'd like to have a half dozen more or so...or maybe not. =}

I'll be making Savi's bday cake for tomorrow and getting her little outfits together. My big 1 year old girl! I can't believe it's been a year already! See you in the morning! YAY YAY YAY!
 

Heather, give Savi some ice cream--I'll never forget the look on Eric's face when he had his first taste, with cake, on his first birthday-the expression was shock at the cold but ecstasy over the taste. I'm looking forward to photos and videos.
 

oh we are way past that! She is already an ice cream lover. Jen and I went through a soft serve faze last summer and Savi would get to have a little each time. She would take a little taste then come back with her mouth WIDE OPEN trying to swallow the entire thing. So funny!

Wish you could be here too!!!! Can't wait for you to meet Savi in person! I just finished making her cake for tomorrow and put some pics up on Flickr. It looks pretty! (but that fancy sugary frosting tastes like CRAP!!!) Savi will like it, I'm sure...and it's chocolate cake so everyone else should like it too. The one I will eat will be Saturday's yummy cake from Cheryl! I'm glad I got to make one too though...she's only 1 once!!!
