Day 1031 - Do you h-EAR what I h-EAR?

Greetings, Bloggy Listeners!

Todays photo depicts different types of ears.

WHY DO I CARE?

WHY ARE WE DISCUSSING THIS?

Because I bought an annual supply (aka 500 pack) of cotton swabs (aka generic brand of Q-tips) recently, and the darn things DON'T FIT IN MY EARS!

Don't they test market these things?

How am I supposed to use them to clean inside my ears if they don't fit?

Do they need to come out with SIZES for Cotton swabs? It is NOT one size fits all, folks.

I take a size 8, please. No, not the tall one, the short. I have an inner ear inseam of only 3cm. NO! Not the ones with wings! Yes, the designer ones. Can I try them on? Do you have a mirror? Thanks!

If they don't even fit in my ears, how would they be useful if you have children or babies in the house?

Good grief, Charlie Brown...

All this ranting and raving over an item that cost a couple of dollars. I just need to think of some creative use for them, and go buy another box.

I hope I can make it through the work day, half deaf from waxy buildup. Just kidding.

TTFN!

Comments:
In response to yesterdays comments, I'm working on more walking videos! She gets distracted by the camera and falls over, so my attempts are constantly deleted.

And MOM, you are not supposed to put a q-tip into your ear! It is for the outside part of your ear, not down into the canal. You're gonna be deaf from eardrum damage, not wax! (okay, that's my DR. rant...I stick em in my ears too.)

Heather, you are right. I recently went to a hearing specialist and in the course of the conversation he said NEVER NEVER NEVER put a q-tip inside the ear. So many stories of eardrum damage.
I have a friend whose 6-7 year old was standing on a stool in the bathroom (to look in the mirror) put a q-tip in his ear and fell and guess what happened. After that, he has had little hearing in that ear.
Heather I still couldn't access the video. I'll ask our IT people, since I can play videos sent by others, etc. And that's pretty funny, your camera efforts are impeding Savi's walking (but not for long!)

ok savi stalkers, I just put up a new walking video! hope you can see it, Nancy!

I'm late today, and just checking in to say we'll be in Boston tomorrow visiting with Gil's granddaughter and husband who are there on vacation from NC, so not blogging tomorrow. Also tomorrow is grandson, Timothy's 10th birthday!!
