Day 985 - Happy Halloween!

Greetings, Bloggy Ghouls and Gals!

Happy Halloween!

Here is Little Miss Adorable, in her Halloween stripes.

I have a 'Ghostbusters' movie t-shirt to wear to work today, I imagine some people at work will dress up.

By the way - it's FRIDAY! You know what to do, march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Trick or Treat! Fri-day! Trick or Treat!'

Did you watch 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' this year? I missed it! Drat! According to the internet it was on earlier this week. Double drat!

Hey - I'm just thankful it's Friday, it's Halloween, and it's November Eve!

I think the time changes this weekend too! Lots going on.

Gotta go! Happy Halloween and be careful tonight!

Comments:
I'd like to wear my Marzak The Magnificent shirt with the bloody rubber knife handles sticking out of the chest, but the folks that I care for wouldn't get the joke...neither would the unit manager.

Don't you know Steve came home with the candy, just in case we get any early birds. About 5 bags.

We have 3 bags of candy and we won't be home! Poor planning. This afternoon, we're taking the Honda in for an oil change then going to Portland to visit Natalie, then going to the Mall to buy me a coat. Gil said "Well we'll just eat the candy"! I suppose we will! Happy Halloween, everyone! Karen, your costume sounds great (Lyn, yours too--sorry you can't wear it!) and isn't Savi cute in her stripes? A friend of ours from church is riding around with 2 gloved hands hanging out of her trunk! I spoke with Heather this morning as I'll be in Prov at Lyn and Steve's next Thurs afternoon, Fri and Sat (Sat is a Memorial Service for my friend, Karen's, husband Jim), so will see Heather and darling Savi on Friday!

Happy Halloween!!! We have already gone trick or treating at Jen's school and the nursing home. Now it's time to rest before we get Jen and do some shopping for Grandpa. He'll be home tuesday morning.

Soooo, Savi's 1st musical adventure went well yesterday. She LOVED the wiggles! She stood up on my lap nearly the entire show jumping and waving her arms around. She did fall asleep for about 15 minutes right before the show ended. Wore herself out!! The ride home was awful. She slept for about 45 minutes, but screamed for the next 2 hours. Everytime she'd start drifting back off to sleep, Julia would say something to her so loudly she'd jump and start screaming again. Poor thing! I can't wait for the next musical event...think I'll be taking my OWN car for that though...

I bet Savi got lots of candy and smiles! Will we be getting photos of the adventure (plus Wiggles too?)

I have dangly scary-face pumpkin earrings and a shirt with glittery pumpkins (you'd love it Karen). We have a Halloween lunch with prizes for costumes, carved pumpkins etc.

I'm sure Steve didn't want to miss the Halloween candy for himself. And Peggy, how terrible that you might have to eat the Halloween candy yourself. (Yeah right).
