Day 971 - No time for Bloggage, but it's Friday!

Greetings, Bloggy TGIFers!

Look at our darling girl, STANDING UP!

She's growing up so fast I can't believe it.

It's Friday - you know what to do - march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Fri-day! Fri-day!'

I am running really late so I've got to go.

TTFN and have a great Friday!

Comments:
Savi and I had a nice morning with Aunty Michelle and Julia at the zoo!! It was super cold but Sav loved it! I got some great pictures...look for em soon!!!

How long has Savi been standing? Such a cute outfit!

GO RED SOX!!

She's been standing (holding onto something, of course) for a few weeks now. She can pretty much pull herself up if she's got something stable to grab. She wants to walk so badly!!!!

PS: just read previous blogs and comments--re Charlie blog about the helicopter, not only did we feel the wind from the helicopter from the balcony where we ran out to watch (at 2:30 a.m.), the helicopter landed above us on the heliopad! (remember we are on the stern (or butt as Karen called it). We learned it actually did not land, but hovered and a medic got off to take care of the baby (we were told it was a premature baby, 7 mos.) The helicopter then hovered right in front of us (and Doug & Kathy who were also on their balcony next door) for about 15 min or so, then hovered above the ship again, to pick up the baby. I was so excited I stayed on the balcony the whole time (about 45 min) in just my nightie and sweet Karen came out and wrapped my robe around my shoulders.

Karen was the best roommate, very thoughtful and much better at taking care of things than I am. And she stayed up late, unlike the rest of our group!

Ahem - the biggest reason to stay up late is to have chicken wings and wonton soup after midnight each night! Can't wait to retire and travel MORE!

Nancy - thanks again so much for inviting me, I am happy to room with you anytime!
