Day 936 - Friday!

Here is another totally adorable photo of Savannah, taken in Newport. I had her propped up on the sofa between pillows for the 'photo opp'.
In her right hand is one of her shoes, which have become her favorite chew toy. (never having WALKED on the shoes, that's OK)
When are the teeth arriving, Savannah? Inquiring bloggies want to know!
I must say that my first week back at work has flown by. Really FLOWN.
At 5pm today I am going to a 'demo' aqua class at the health club. It is something like 'water karate' or 'water martial arts'. THAT should be very interesting! Hiiiii - yaaaaa!

Yes, lovely photo of darling Savannah! Hope you enjoyed that "demo" water aerobics class! Today, grandson, William, graduates from Warrant Officer Candidate School and parents, Lyn and Steve are there in Alabama with him. Congratulations, Will, for a job well done!! Continuing on from yesterday's 9/11 blog--last night at the gym I spent almost 2 hours on the Elliptical machine (stopped a few times!) switching back and forth between history channel and msnbc who were showing the attacks in real time--weird to listen to Tom Brokaw, Andrea Mitchell and David Gregory speculating about what was happening as it was happening, and to watch all the people in NYC who stayed near the towers, not realizing they would come down.
But we have our Angel With Shoe photo and Karen Karata to put it all into persepective.

Happy friday! Jen survived her first week of school one. Now its time for fun! Picking her friend up in an hour to stay the weekend =)
