Day 811 - Happy Belated Birthday!

Greetings, Bloggy Weekenders!

Belated birthday wishes go to Aunts Nancy and Mary Ann, and also my niece in California! I honestly don't know the Aunts and Uncles birthdays, my mother will need to remind me next year.

No time for bloggage, buddy Joe will be here between 10 and 10:30, and we will arrive at Papa Boudreauxs in time for their special crawfish boil today that starts at noon.

They had one a few weeks ago, and we didn't know so we missed it. 'Papa' said they went through 800 pounds of crawfish.

That is a LOT of crawfish.

I am doing the 'company coming' thing - clean sheets and towels, scrub the tub, wash the kitchen floor, etc.

TTFN and have a GREAT Saturday!

Comments:
Happy Saturday, Karen! Enjoy your crawfish boil with buddy Joe! As you recommended, I have opened 2 of your 3 Mother's Day cards and found a check in one of them! Thank you, thank you, thank you, and a Happy Mother's/Grandmother's Day to you, too,and Heather, Lyn, Nancy, and all of the Mother's we love who do not read the blog! We three sisters, Mary Ann, Martha, and I are going to Martha's good friend, Rachel's funeral today--she passed away at age 58 from ovarian cancer. Very sad but we're glad we can go to extend sympathy to the family. Rachel traveled with our family to Hawaii, and San Francisco, and she and Martha took a trip across the country as retired teachers. She will be greatly missed.

Very sorry to hear about Rachel. Much sympathy to Martha and to Rachel's family. Good friends are very precious.

Karen, who is coming to visit? (if you can answer, after all that crawfish you ate).

Yes friends are very important and we need to let them know it as often as possible.
