Day 757 - Happy St. Patricks Day!

Happy St. Patricks Day, everyone!

Did you wear green today?

Savannah looks a little worried because she isn't wearing green.

I do have some Irish heritage, my grandmother was a 'Slattery', which is a lineage descended from Irish Kings, of course...

Sorry I don't have more time to blog this morning, I got busy looking up family crests on that www.houseofnames.com website.

Happy St. Patricks Day, and the Luck 'O the Irish go with you!

TTFN!

Comments:
Happy St. Patricks Day! Today is Savi's first Dr's appt, thank goodness because I think she's got her first bug or something. She's so miserable...not sleeping well (although she spent all night in bed w/ me and DID get some sleep), not eating well, threw up last night enough to get her a bath (poor thing!)Been giving her gas drops (which she seems to like more than milk..haha!) and that's helping her belly a bit, but she's still so miserable. I am looking forward to finding out what she's gained since her last hospital check! Not sure if I have anything green to put her in today ;)

How nice to begin St. Patrick's Day with a picture of that beautiful baby descended from Irish Kings! My mother, whose father was a Slattery, was about 1/8th Irish, which I always said was enough to bring some levity to the other 7/8th English lineage! The dictionary defines levity as frivolity; improper gaiety--isn't that amusing! Luck 'O the Irish to ya!

Heather, you were posting your comments while I was finishing mine. So sorry little Savi is not feeling well. Hope she is better by the end of the day! Tell her I love her!

Back from the doc's and Savi weighs 7lbs 2oz, so she's back to birth weight, which is good. Doc thinks her fussiness and sick tummy is from something I ate that didn't agree w/ her, not an illness. Guess that's good, but I don't know what I ate!! She's doing better, sleeping now, and was given a clean bill of health from the doc! She'll go back in two weeks. Adorable 'Auntie' Tania was her nurse today...and Savi peed twice, once for Tania while getting weighed, and once for the doc on the exam table. How proud I am...LOL!!!

Top of the Mornin' and Erin go Bragh and all that (let's just have a beer for Pat's sake)! And, one of our Slattery ancestors was Patrick Slattery. I have so much green on it's ridiculous.

I want to send (by ESP) special St Patrick's Day wishes to non-blog readers sister in law Iris from Ireland and her lovely daughter Meg, born on March 16th. And to our newest Shamrock, Savannah.
