Day 744 - Twofer Tuesday

Greetings, Bloggy Double Troublers!

After an exceptionally yucky Monday yesterday - my overnight jobs ran smoothly last night, meaning we are in good shape to start the day without several hundred unhappy people.

Oops - just got an email about a different issue that I'll need to look at when I get in.

Today, the temperature is starting in the 60's and will fall to the 30's by the end of the day.

Jeepers - it's quarter past 6!

Gotta go and have a nice Tuesday!

Comments:
Hope today is better for you!! I'm having breakfast with my Poo bear (Evan for those who don't know I call him that). Last time I can just run out without a sitter! Wow, that's just crazy. Tomorrow is the big day...cannot wait! Well, Thursday is an even BIGGER day since I'll finally be able to put a face to the brutality that I've suffered over the past few months...YAY!!!
xoxo

Hello Sista,
What a beautiful day we have for voting so far! I walked by the polling place once already this morning, but there was such a crowd at 08:30, I didn't go in. I saw my neighbors walk over (isn't that nice - just down the street, and such nice weather everyone wants to walk), and they returned after approximately 30 minutes. Still too long a wait.
Steve is out getting the brakes fixed on the car. Great for stopping, right?

WOW the joggers are out in force today!

Hi Heather! I think you'll still be running out when you want to, you'll just have your little appendage in tow! She's a bit of a stranger now, but trust me, she's gonna grow on you in ways you never dreamed possible!

The media is making a big deal out of little Rhode Island! Good for you Rhode Islanders.

My polling place is 2 blocks away, in someone's garage. In June 1982 when Eric was a week old, I wrapped him in a fluffy yellow baby blanket and we voted in the garage next door. A wonderful experience.

My memorable voting story is that the first time I was old enough to vote I voted for John F Kennedy! I admired him so much, and Bobby Kennedy as well. As a matter of fact, I once dreamed I was dancing with both of them (one at a time of course!)and discussing issues important to our country, but can't remember what the issues were! So I'm waiting for the results of the voting in RI, VT, Ohio, and Texas--no clue if Obama or Hillary will win, it seems very close! So hello Karen, Heather, Lyn, Nancy, and other bloggers today!

That's an awesome dream, Mom!

Sister dear -- discussing issues of the day while dancing with the Kennedys? That's not what I would have been doing!

I hear you, Nancy! Yes, Lyn, it was pretty awesome!
