Day 730 - In between Birthdays

Greetings, Bloggy TwoFers!

We have a twofer this week - Lyn's birthday Sunday and Heather's birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday Eve, Heather!

Lyn - if you still want birthday pancakes, why not try Cracker Barrel?

Yes, there will be a wait there too, but maybe you can go at an off time like 2 in the afternoon or something. They do have various kinds of pancakes all the time (I like their pecan pancakes) and real maple syrup for them, and they are open 7 days a week all day as far as I know.

YUM-O!

I've swapped email with buddy Joe for 'dinner out and bagel swap'. More YUM-O.

Yesterday was NOT a good day - I don't want to talk about it, except to hope that today will be an improvement.

TTFN and Let's Hear it for Pancake-age! ;-)

Comments:
Thanks Mamma! This year's bday is barely even an afterthought for me. Too many other things going on for it to stand out..lol! Sorry yesterday was so awful. I hope today is better!! xoxoxo

Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is a mystery,
Today is a gift, and that is why they call it the present!

The 2 in the afternoon theory failed me once already, sister Karen. That was when I planned to go to the IHOP, but it was jammin. Now remember, this is Rhode Island.
If I say Cracker Barrel, it is a good 20-25 minutes away. That is the equivalent to saying LETS GO TO KAREN'S for pancakes!

I'll wait till we are back on the bike. Then distance becomes our friend. Specially with the gas going up. How do you do your commute...

Yes, Karen, we're all hoping for a better work day for you! Get those new computers working for you, not against you! Lyn, I didn't realize you didn't get your pancakes Sunday at IHOP. Guess their new restaurant is meeting a need for many! Imagine your birthday taking a back seat, Heather! Just waiting for baby-age!
Tonight I'm going to Morgan's quarter-finalist basketball game in Portland; going with Ray and Mary Ann and Kathy (up for the week from NJ-Doug's at a mtg in Mass). Gil will be calling Bingo at the Legion Hall.

Karen, you have my sympathies! Our IT people are always facing some disaster or the other, while the rest of us complain if everything isn't working perfectly all the time. We couldn't survive without you people!

Lyn, I have fond memories of IHOP, especially at 2 a.m. when all the weirdos are out. Haven't been for years, though.
