Day 729 - Is it only MONDAY?

Greetings, Monday Morning Blah-ghers!

I'm not going to blog for very long - I am still pretty bleary and have a new issue this morning to deal with.

So - what's new with you?

Lyn - how was your birthday? I just cleaned out a drawer and found some funny birthday cards - now I need some more birthday people to send them to!

Tax return update - I haven't done them yet.

Joe - I have been eating one of 'your' K&K bagels a day during my stressful weekend. They are SOOOOO wonderful, I am going to have to learn how to drive there myself and restock my bagel-age supply. I think I have 4 left. The 'pretzel bagel' and the cheese topped bagels are my favorites so far.

Have a nice Monday, everyone! TTFN!

Comments:
I hope they pay you lots of overtime for all your extra work, Karen. Happy bagels!

Problems already? Hope that doesn't mean another long night. Yuck.
It's super soggy here today. Pouring, but 58 degrees...fair trade, I guess!
Hope you guys work out all your computer kinks...have a good Monday! xoxo

We are all feeling sympathy for you, Karen, with all that extra work! It's a good thing you are young and can stand the pace! Must be bagel-power! Happy Monday everyone else! Quiet day here so far. Rain, instead of snow, and icy as it is still 30 degrees. It's supposed to warm up. Safe trip to William who is on his way back to Ft. Bragg this morning. What a wonderful birthday present his visit was for his Mom!

OK I'm working today and I'm 12 years older than Karen. That just means, Karen, in 12 years if you haven't retired you can still work a lot. Isn't that inspiring?

And what is CHARLIE doing on his permanent holiday?

Lyn, hope you didn't have to work on your birthday!

D@mn sure ain't working. :-)

Here is the story of me turning 49 yesterday... what I really wanted was to eat pancakes, I might have mentioned. So we call the new IHOP, and they say it's going to be an hour...so we give them our name, such a high class joint, and when we get there they say they called our name SIX times already and we'll have to wait ANOTHER HOUR. No.
So we go to Bickfords, a breakfast anytime place. It is SUNDAY. They say sorry, there are seven of you and we close at 3 (it is now ten of 3).
You close at 3? On a Sunday? Everyone is looking at us.

So we leave.
Charles has practice at 5, Chris has work at 6.
So we go to this cheezy looking franchizy Italian place called Mozarellas. I'm thinking anywhere but here, Lord. But it is the very next resturant.
Turns out the place had great food! Everybody had fun! Then we went home and they sang H.B. SO OFF KEY, like no one could ever get HB to sound like that again. It was awesome. Steve took my picture and told me I look bad in glasses... it was PERFECT!

So there you have it. The rest of my cake went to work with me today.
And we all made time and a half for showing up, because it is President's Day. Let's hear it for Washington and Lincoln as well, two chaps who never went to college. Andrew Jackson never attended school at all. Power to the people.

lyn, serendipity on your birthday. Perfect.
