Day 721 - Sunday already!
Greetings, Blogregation!
The weekend is flying by, just like the week does! Whaddya know about that?
I did it. I took all three morning water classes yesterday. Thankfully working hard in water does not hurt your joints the way that exercise out of the water does.
I took 8am water aerobics, 9am strength training, and 10am water aerobics. My arms and shoulders are a little sore if I raise my arms, but not bad.
By the way - I must have been burned out at the end of three hours, I left my swim suit in the shower stall! I hope someone turned it in to Lost and Found, Charlie and I are going over there shortly.
I talked to a girl yesterday who came to water aerobics for the first time. She is a new member, and also paid for a 10 week program called 'Fit Camp' at the gym. I don't have the exact details, but the program is where professional trainers work you hard 3 nights a week like boot camp. The day after her first session, she had to call in sick because she couldn't move.
I am NOT interested, I wouldn't do something like that until I was at some level of fitness where I wouldn't be incapacitated! But non-exercisers often use it as a kick start program to force them to increase their level of fitness. Not me, thank you very much.
Changing subjects:
Charlie and I might finally go see 'National Treasure' this afternoon.
Speaking of movies - if you like action/crime drama movies, we saw '16 blocks' recently on cable. This is a Bruce Willis movie where he plays a burned-out detective who has to get his act together in a hurry while escorting a witness to the courthouse. It was entertaining and has a positive message despite all the violence in it! Ha!
Have a nice Sunday, whatever you do! TTFN!

Yeah, I like 16 Blocks, good movie. I remember taking a dance class in high school and not being able to walk, my calf muscles hurt so much. Have you seen Fifth Element? Armaggedon is pretty good too.(Both are Bruce Willis movies).
Did I tell you we saw National Treasure? It was pretty good. I'm dying to see Fool's Gold. That looks hilarious!! Maybe we'll go on Valentine's Day. I made breakfast plans with my Poo Bear for tuesday. Something to look forward to during the week! YAY! My excitement today is going to be running to CVS for soda. Then back on the couch...what a life. ;) xoxo
I remember walking 20 miles on Good Friday, a fund raiser, and driving myself the 3 miles home from the church and not being able to reach the brake without pulling my leg up with my hand, and at night it felt like I had the flu, my body hurt so much. The next year they had decreased that walk to 17 and 1/2 miles. Karen, you remember how you would go out and walk with me in preparation for it. I quit that walk for a while and changed to a 10K "walk for hunger" that was just right!
Hello everyone, Hello Karen!
I am assuming Poo Bear Is MIKE.
(We like Mike!)
Hey Karen, when you come up North, would you happen to have one of those highly skilled retired IT guys you could bring along? I sure need one! Just for professional purposes, mind you.
Changing the subject,
We saw that baby boy from the tornado on TV with his grandfather. The grandfather had the saddest look in his eyes. Sad times. Bizzare story, how the baby was with dolls that were scattered about from a nearby store. Such a strange occurance.
