Day 698 - Friday, Lovely Friday!

Greetings, Bloggy Weekenders! Another Friday has arrived!

You know what to do - march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Fri-day! Fri-day!'

Hey - all the New Englanders out there, better be thinking about 4-wheel drive vehicles your next car purchase! I am so glad it snows about an inch at a time here in Tennessee.

I hope I can catch up on some work related things today before the weekend. I might need to transfer my mental 'to do' list onto paper because it's so long!

Confession - after I wrote that, I took out a piece of paper and started writing some of it down. I wrote down 10 items in one minute. Nope - 11 items.

No notable dreams the last couple of nights - I 'almost' remember them, and have some bits and pieces, but not enough to make sense!

Charlie has really been enjoying his retirement! I can't wait till it's ME!

He does some cooking now (chili, meatloaf, and egg frittatas), balances the checkbook earlier, is learning about beekeeping (he has ordered and built a beehive that he'll be putting out this spring), and goes to the health club several times a week.

(Ahem, I also notice that he leaves the toilet seat up more often than he used to....)

Oops - it's getting late! Have a great Friday and a great weekend!

Comments:
I'm impressed with your list...I need a paper to do list for TWO items, never mind ELEVEN! I had a dream last night that I was late for my doctor's appointment (its with the hospital specialists, and I haven't been to this building before) because clocks everywhere were going haywire. Hands were turning every which way and were either way too early or hours late, even the digital clocks. So I spent hours searching for a working clock, calling people, visiting people. When I finally found one, it was my appointment time, but I was 20 minutes away from the hospital and they didn't believe my clock story, so they canceled me. I was very upset. What a goober I am! Haha!

Karen, just last night I was looking on line for a snow/ice friendly vehicle to buy when I move to Maine. I am a Honda fan but don't see any 4 wheel/all wheel car I like and I do not like SUV's. A lot of people have said Suburu all wheel drive is the way to go. I have over three years to figure it out--am hoping by then there will be an affordable car that drives itself and has a retractable plow.

I can't wait to do what Charlie is doing now--just what he wants!

Mental overload, Heather! Things will get better soon! Karen, have a good weekend but we'll miss you so much at Heather's baby shower. She'll be just as happy to see you in the Spring! The snow ended today just before noon, so the traveling will be good for tomorrow morning. I can't wait! Thanks in advance, Lyn and Steve, for entertaining the four of us--mother, father-in-law and 2 bubbly Aunts! See you Sunday, Heather (Mike too!)

Does that mean you're going to start leaving the toilet seat up too, Nancy?

I was hoping somebody was going to comment about the toilet seat!

I think because he's around the house more he doesn't want to be bothered putting it up and down all day.

And Nancy, my 1991 Subaru Loyale is still kicking. I like Subarus.
