Day 644 - Back home from the frozen North!

Greetings, Blogregation!

This is a picture of where Charlie and I stayed this past week in Bethel, Maine.

See the beautiful mountains? Lovely, lovely, lovely!

We had a good trip back yesterday, no trouble returning the rental car, flights on time, etc.

We had lunch in the Shipyard restaurant at PWM airport. We had one beer, one diet coke, one appetizer, and two sandwiches. Bill with tip - $50.10. Talk about airport prices...

I am sitting at the computer with a full suit of long johns on, in keeping with the time of year...

We had a wonderful time, got to see lots of family, and ate constantly for a week! What more could anyone ask for?

TTFN - gotta make breakfast and go swim!

Comments:
Glad you're both home safe and sound! It was a nice trip...and not too cold this year! (the girls were hoping for snow) Now to prepare for Christmas. ugh.
xoxoxo

Long johns in Tennessee? like, ever? Wow. Maybe you have your air conditioning on by mistake, there, Karen, or you are thinking about the great North. A lot.
I went out to rake leaves in a sweater and got too hot here in southern New England. We could actually go for a ride if both bikes weren't put away...I told him not to put them away for the winter. Not much winter anymore here. Now watch it snow like a b_____d...(the word might be "blessed" for all you know, like "blessed event."
Anyway, back to the longjohns - how cold is it there? Do you get snow? I've been mulling over the idea of moving to TN if we get entirely sick of RI. I want to ride the Natchez Trace.

You move to Tennessee, take me with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
