Day 569 - Guilty as charged - in my dreams!

Greetings, Bloggy Dreamers! Viva Las Vegas!

I dreamed last night that I was in Las Vegas.

(Charlie told me this morning that I was asleep while he was watching Jay Leno do 'Jaywalking' from Las Vegas, so subliminally I must have picked up on that).

I was outside a casino - and a guy casually offered me a puff of his cigarette (NO, not the funny kind). I thought that was the nicest gesture. I took a huge puff of it and it pretty much burned through my lungs, but I still enjoyed it, and when the guy walked away I wished I'd asked him to give me one. I remembered then in my dream that I used to smoke.

So what does that mean in the dream world? Once a smoker, always a smoker?

I do occasionally dream about smoking, though it has been MANY years since I smoked! It is always a fond memory though.

So anyway - guilty as charged. I smoked, and I liked it.

Smoking Confession over.

I haven't managed to leave the office until after 5 so far this week, though I've been going in at 7am. Maybe tonight.

I bought PF Changs moo shu pork last night and wonton soup to go, because I had a craving for Chinese food. It was good, but not as good as the China Palace in Rhode Island where we used to go. The wonton soup was VERY good, it's my favorite item there.

Gotta go! TTFN!

Comments:
I guess I'm the first to read about your adventures in dreamland, and other tidbits. Yes, the China Palace in RI was a favorite for many years. I still appreciate good won ton soup whenever I can find it. I'm surprised you dreamed of smoking these many years later, but what can you expect when in Las Vegas!

Karen, when I first stopped smoking I would have nightmares about smoking. Now, from time to time I smoke in my dreams--I always loved smoking, never a problem but figured out it might kill me so stopped years ago. From time to time with friends and cocktails I will "smoke" part of a cigarette but I don't inhale (honest).
I love Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" (but often fall asleep by then) - where does he find those people?

MOO SHU PORK!!!!!!! Yummy. I want Chinese food now too! ;)
