Day 543 - The Friday before Vacation!

Greetings, Bloggy Weekenders! It's FRIDAY already!

You know what to do - paint your faces and march in a circle chanting 'Fri-day! Fri-day! Fri-day!'

I love the photo today - these kids are awesome. Check out the various expressions on their little faces. Hilarious!

It was 106 or so yesterday, but the good news is that around 9 or so last night, we suddenly heard this NOISE outside! The noise was RAIN!

It was a stray, popup shower that decided to bestow some life-giving rain on us for a few minutes. We looked on the radar, and didn't see that anyone else got any rain. I'm very thankful for every drop.

Temps over 100 expected again today, it is already 82 degrees before 6am.

I have had a busy week at work, and look forward to the weekend to do my packing for vacation! I still need to decide what to bring to wear - stuff for warm AND cool weather is appropriate for New England!

Hey! My fave Sabra won the 'Think you can dance' championship last night - awesome!

Gotta go - have a nice weekend everyone! TTFN!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!! Have a great weekend! Glad you got a bit of rain yesterday. Can't believe how hot its been. Awful! Stay cool. xoxoxoox

Weather here in Prov is just right at 75 degrees late this afternoon! Waiting for Will to arrive, now on his way from NC--Yay! Have a good weekend, Karen,--talk to your blog again tomorrow. We will let the men shop for food in the morning and Lyn and I will cook when they get back. Good idea! We'll see Heather, Evan(later, he has to work), Charles and Chris on Sunday, and others too. Sorry Marcia and Kelly can't make it due to Sunday afternoon traffic off the Cape.

It was a dark and stormy night. Gil and Steve were in the parlor, eating ice cream. Jason Giambi hit his second home run since coming back off the DL. Mom and the sister sat quietly absorbed by the blog in the dining room, each in their own thoughts, when Mom broke the silence: "How do you spell "YAY?"

You get the picture, a peaceful night at home. Lovin it.
