Greetings, Bloggy Birthday Celebrants!

Today is my son's birthday - I will discreetly NOT say which one.

The photo of Pooh's birthday is because Heather always calls him 'Pooh' or even 'Pooh-per'.

Evan doesn't usually read the blog, but the rest of the family does, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EVAN!




Here are a few 'Evan-isms' in honor of his birthday:

• At the age of three - 'Heather, do you think I'm handsome? (She said Yes) WHERE am I handsome?'. (Heather told him he had nice hair).


• Evan's favorites - Near East Rice Pilaf, Iced Coffee, Steak a la Mama, the ocean.


• 'Mom, why didn't you name me Kevin? Everyone calls me Kevin anyway'.


• 'Mom, why don't you DO something with your hair?'


• 'Mom, you're a wicked pinhead'.


• 'No, I'm not getting married, I have a hard enough time taking care of myself - how am I going to take care of another person?'


• When phoning him during a bizzard - 'I'm fine, I'm just calling different restaurants to see who'll deliver today. I'm hungry.' (He found one too!)
