Day 534 - Midweek, Midlife, and Bloody Hot!

Greetings, Bloggy Dearests!

It's Wednesday, and the week is (now) flying by.

Let's do some Q&A today...

So what will the temperature be there TODAY, Karen? ONE HUNDRED AND TWO, with a heat index even hotter than that.

So what was the temperature in the outdoor pool yesterday, Karen? NINETY-FIVE DEGREES, bathwater temperature.

So were any brave souls IN the outdoor pool yesterday besides YOU? YES! As a matter of fact, there were 6-8 other crazy people outdoors in that heat.

So, are you eating cantalope (or cantaloupe) at every meal? YES! Charlie has it with breakfast, I have it with my lunch, and we both have cantalope for dessert.

Gotta go, folks! Have a great Wednesday!

Comments:
You've got it worse than we do, that sounds pretty awful. It finally rained for 15 minutes on the Cape the other day, finally. I haven't felt like taking many walks in this heat. Today it's really foggy here on Nantucket, a little cooler.

I'd like to be there eating melon, but not in 102 degree heat! We had rain this forenoon but it's clearing now in time for the American Legion baseball play-off game at 4pm at St. Joseph's College diamond. It's a muggy 76 and will probably go up to about 82. Hi Marcia, Hi Lyn, Hi Heather, and of course Hi to you, Karen!

Wow! Super hot weather there! Awful. It's pretty steamy here too, but not 100 degrees. Yuck. Just two more days till FRIDAY!!! Thank goodness....;x0
Hi all! xoxoxo

It's 62 degrees, SF summer weather. I complain its too cold but don't like the heat and humidity back East. I just died when I lived in Maryland.

102 and humidity (I assume its humid in Tennessee) sounds awful. Too hot to swim sounds funny too.
